Swansea City can confirm the club's retained list ahead of the 2026-27 Championship campaign. Joel Ward and Kit Margetson remain in discussions with the club, with their existing contracts due to expire at the end of June 2026. Loan players Malick Yalcouye, Ishe Samuels-Smith and Gustavo Nunes have all returned to their parent clubs following the end of the 2025-26 season. Over the course of 2025-26 season the club had already taken up the option to extend the contracts of Zan Vipotnik, Lawrence Vigouroux, Josh Tymon, Jay Fulton, Andy Fisher and Paul Farman. At academy level, Caleb Demery, Billy Clarke, Caio Ifans, Callum Jones, Milo Robinson, Jacob Cook and Thomas Searle have been offered new contracts or had their option years taken up by the club. Evan Anderson, Mitchell Bates, Callum Deacon, Isaac Dudding, Wahab Ojetoro, Ben Phillips, Brogan Popham and Josh Thomas will leave the club this summer at the conclusion of their scholarship agreements or contracts.
