Swansea City celebrated its annual Player Awards Evening, where Slovenian striker Zan Vipotnik scooped an impressive hat-trick of accolades for the 2025-26 season. Vipotnik was crowned the Swansea City Supporters’ Player of the Season, a testament to his outstanding campaign which saw him net 25 goals across all competitions. His remarkable tally of 23 league goals is also set to earn him the Championship’s coveted Golden Boot award.

The prolific forward's dominance at the Brangwyn Hall event extended beyond the fan vote. Zan Vipotnik was also honored by his peers, receiving the Men’s Players’ Player of the Season award. Completing his hat-trick, he unsurprisingly secured the Top Goalscorer prize, recognizing his exceptional scoring prowess throughout the season for the Swans.

Other notable individual achievements were recognized, highlighting emerging talent within the club. Ethan Galbraith, a versatile midfielder, was named Men’s Best Newcomer after a superb debut season in SA1 following his transfer from Leyton Orient last summer. On the women's side, Eilish Mitchell earned the Women’s Best Newcomer award, impressing with her consistent defensive and midfield performances for Swansea City Women.

The Swansea City Women's squad also celebrated their stars. Midfielder Maddy Murray was voted their Players’ Player of the Season, having played a crucial role in securing a third-place finish in the Welsh top-flight and reaching the Welsh Cup final. Meanwhile, Chloe Chivers narrowly claimed the Women’s Top Goalscorer title, finishing the campaign with 19 goals in all competitions, including 16 in the league.

The club's academy talents were also acknowledged. Thomas Woodward was named Under-21s’ Player of the Season, following another goal-laden campaign that saw the midfielder join an elite training group and earn a spot on the senior side’s bench. Defender Carter Heywood, a 17-year-old, received the Academy Player of the Season award for his excellent performances across all age categories, including regular appearances for the Under-21s and helping the Under-18s reach the FA Youth Cup fifth round.

Beyond the pitch, the Swansea City Supporters’ Trust Lifetime Achievement award was presented to Tony Avo. A dedicated servant of Swansea City for over three decades, Avo has held numerous vital roles within the club. His contributions range from academy coaching and assisting in key player signings like Joe Allen, Connor Roberts, and Ollie Cooper, to helping with kit provision and supporting matchday ball retrieval teams, marking him as a true unsung hero of the club.
