Swansea City has signed Kaleab Meron, a 19-year-old young player from Arsenal, in a transfer deal. The former Arsenal youngster has put pen to paper this week, joining the Welsh club after coming to the end of his youth contract with the Gunners. Kaleab confirmed his exit from Arsenal in June, writing on Instagram: 'Thank you, Arsenal. It has been a true honour and a privilege to represent this club for 9 unforgettable years.'

As for Kaleab's brother Yabsera, he's linked up with FC Bayern Pathway, which is Bayern Munich's international youth programme. Yabsera has joined Bayern's 'World Squad' of u19 players, which is the last step in the pathway. He'll be pushing for a professional contract next.
