Swansea City midfielder Ethan Galbraith is attracting interest from West Ham and Wrexham ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Northern Irishman's future at the club uncertain. Galbraith has enjoyed a strong first season in the Championship, making 44 appearances in all competitions. The versatile midfielder has been on the radar of several clubs, including West Ham, who are reportedly eyeing a possible move for his signature. Wrexham are also keeping tabs on the Northern Irishman, with the club's interest in Galbraith's services understood to be genuine. Galbraith has two years remaining on his current deal, with Swansea holding the option of another 12 months. The club has already looked to tie him down to improved terms, but their first offer was swiftly rejected. As things stand, there's been no sign of another offer, and talks appear to have come to a standstill. Along with Galbraith, West Ham have also been tracking Swansea striker Zan Vipotnik, who was recently presented with his Golden Boot award by co-owner Luka Modric while on international duty. The Slovenian has been on their radar ever since January, with Swansea slapping a price tag of £15m on the striker. Given his continued exploits in front of goal, and the signing of an improved deal, his value is likely to be even higher this summer. All of this has rumbled on against the backdrop of the search for a new sporting director, with the club looking to replace Adam Worth, who left his role of head of recruitment back in April. Swans legend Michu is the latest to have been linked to the role, with reports elsewhere claiming the club were 'seriously considering' him for the role. However, it's understood he's not currently in the frame at this stage. The Spaniard did hold talks with the Swans hierarchy back in May, but City have chosen to go in a different direction - as they did with Steve Brown, who was previously a leading contender to take over the role.
