Swansea City have named Jay Lefevre as their new head of recruitment. Prior to the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, it was confirmed that former goalkeeping coach Martyn Margetson would leave Swansea this summer.
What happened?
The club has appointed Pedro Pereira as head of goalkeeping. Pereira was most recently goalkeeping coach at Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg.
Why it matters for Swansea City
Lefevre joined Swansea from Celtic in December 2025 as chief scout. The club praised Lefevre in his previous role, saying he impressed everyone with the clarity and calibre of his work.
What comes next?
The Swans have also announced that assistant head coach Ryan Maye has left by mutual consent. A club statement read: We thank Ryan for his efforts during his time at Swansea City and wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
