Swansea City AFC will carry Swansea Building Society’s logo on the back of all shirts for the 2026/27 Championship season, extending a partnership now in its eighth year. The club’s new home kit goes on sale in-store and online from August 1, with the Society also retaining lounge sponsorship at the Swansea.com Stadium.
What’s new for 2026/27?
The back-of-shirt branding returns alongside wider stadium presence, including the lounge sponsorship. Swansea City finished 11th in the Championship last season with 64 points (18 wins, 10 draws, 18 losses), scoring 57 goals and conceding 59.
Why does this partnership matter?
Alun Williams, Chief Executive of Swansea Building Society, called the tie-up a reflection of shared local roots. Both organisations have over a century of history in Swansea, with the club founded in 1912 and the Society celebrating its centenary in 2023.
What’s next for the Swans?
Tom Gorringe, CEO at Swansea City AFC, highlighted the strength of the relationship. Fans can expect the Society’s branding on shirts and around the stadium as the team builds on its 2025 campaign, which ended 31 points behind leaders Coventry.
